Student organizations that were recognized in 2007-2008 must renew their on-campus status by September 30, 2008.

Any new policy updates will be posted here on our Web site. Please check in monthly for any related changes. If you are unsure of your orientation attendance status, please contact Bill Mackey at bmackey@mail.sdsu.edu to verify your last date of attendance.
Are you applying to serve as a new faculty/staff advisor? If yes, you MUST attend an orientation session.

All student organizations are required to have an eligible on-campus SDSU staff or faculty advisor. Advisor’s must be either part-time or full-time employees. Auxiliary staff and student assistants are not eligible to serve as advisors. Employee eligibility and confirmation of their status is verified when organizations apply for official recognition status. The advisor must also attend a mandatory advisor orientation. The advisor is an integral part of the organization, and he or she should be someone who is familiar with your group’s area of interest or mission.
